Asheville Community Network, March 9, 2008 gathering. Presentation:
Learning what it means to Live Oneness: Going from Folly to Fun
We are in Times of tremendous transformation – from horse & carriage to quantum physics
Within Oneness, our energy ‘matters’ – is physics/reality, affects our health & well-being
Dr. Emoto, plants – Health & Harmony on the planet comes from within
Promise & responsibility, developing mastery of our energy. Exciting!
We are pioneers! We are learning to master physical & metaphysical energy/reality.
Expect things/people/self to change and to be unpredictable – this is good!
Mastering personal energy to allow more joy and aliveness involves study & practice.
There now are many processes available, such as ‘The Work’ of Byron Katie, NVC, Neville, Louise Hay, Serge King. These can be studied individually and in groups. We can Love thyself – make beautiful space, follow passion – fulfillment works!
Acid test = relationships.
Instead of taking our judgments of others seriously, we can use them to transform.
Learn to develop intimacy/friendship from sharing gifts, beauty & wisdom. We paired up and did an exercise on bragging, encouraging more comfort in exchanging this.
Redefined vulnerability in terms of immediacy and engagement of both people, vs dumping well-rehearsed childhood victim stories onto others.
Co-discover topics & activities that are mutually engaging & co-creative. Know self
What say/inform, are affirming in world. Always affirm what value/desire. Have fun!
6 Steps were given on what to do when you get triggered by or are angry at someone else.
7 Steps were given on what to do when someone else is triggered by or angry at you.
Be compassionate with self and others. Practice! Consider every challenge a workshop – a time-limited experience you signed up for because it has the potential to enrich your life greatly. Spend considerable time alone, tuning within and with Nature. Love & nurture thyself. Take time to be inspired before acting. Later or never is ok!
Homework: Consider the 21-day process, where you make no complaints or negative comments for 21 days, and if you do, you start back at day 1. Also, start a gratitude journal, add something to it daily and read it nightly. Read ‘The Passion Test’ by Janet Attwood.
