NEXT GENERAL MEETING OF THE ASHEVILLE COMMUNITIES NETWORK:

"Passage in Community"

The support of community is important on many levels. But at the time close to ones passing, a community can be put to its greatest and most noble test. Being in community in the later years of life, can be one of the greatest gifts of ones journeys. How can we as a community gain knowledge, wisdom, and practical tools to support conscious aging and dying? During this special ACN Meeting we will explore this issue together.

Cornelia Scibetta will bring her 30 years experience in this area to discuss some important elements in supporting "Passage in Community". Cornelia is the director of Clinical Services at Care Partners of Asheville.

"In being with dying, we arrive at the natural crucible of what it means to love and be loved…"

"…Only a community can hold the truth, if we trust the alchemy of its process, journeying though we do not know the destination."
